Moriarty grew up in one of the world's most beautiful places
and the riches of the natural and cultural history of his land
inspired him since childhood.
The Gap of Dunloe is a wild place, located in the heart of County
Kerry in the South West of Ireland. It is a region rugged mountains
and wild coastlines lake-valleys and ancient woodlands, islands
and fertile plains.
It is a place where the power of nature is evident everywhere and
overlaying this natural history is a one of the richest stories
of human history in the world. Inspired by this Place, Con Moriarty
has been a life-long outdoor enthusiast; mainly in the fields of
rock climbing, mountaineering, mountain rescue and guiding. This
wealth of experience added to imagination and vision is brought
to bear on each Hidden Ireland Adventure.
